Alexandra Maycock

 All the Disney characters came to life today when the production of Disney On Ice, “Let’s Celebrate” opened in Memphis, Tennessee.   The show runs until Sunday, September 26th 2010. 

Featured in the show as an ensemble skater is Alexandra Maycock, who origonally comes from Altrincham. Alexandra has been a member of the “Disney On Ice” family since 1989 when she joined Feld Entertainment at the age of 19 years-old, marking twenty years as a skater. 

She trained at Altrincham Ice Rink, under the supervision of Coaches Adrian Florence and Mike Fish. 

During her years of touring, Maycock has traveled the world over including Columbia, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Guatemala, El Salvador, France and Austria. She is quoted in saying, “One day, I’ll grow up. But, in the meantime, I’m very happy doing what I’m doing.”
